Pond Health is a new product concept designed from the ground up. Through competitor analyses, industry research, and primary patient surveys, I uncovered a clear picture of the patient experience navigating and accessing healthcare. Patients reported significant pain-points involving insurance, cost transparency and scheduling complexities and delays. These pain-points frequently deter or delay patients from seeking care, and many patients would rather go to urgent care or the emergency room rather than deal with the process of scheduling primary care. This data became the north-star for Pond Health; the central objective for the app is to alleviate patient stress through transparency, simplicity, and ease.
01UX/UI
Architecture and interaction design provided a crucial foundation for creating a smooth, stress-free user experience. The sitemap demonstrates the app structure and taxonomy, and identifies the primary and secondary pages in the app. The user flow visualizes user movement throughout the application and ensures each path is streamlined and efficient. I created a task flow for the cost estimate tool in order to simplify the complexity of the feature, and to gain a birdseye view of how it fits into the larger flow of the app.
